NPHC Week 2012

NPHC Week 2011

The National Pan-Hellenic Council Week (NPHC Week) is meant to expose the University of Michigan community to the history and culture of the Divine Nine organizations, and provide information for how to join. The week will include several events that display the traditions of the NPHC while equally showcasing each fraternity and sorority. Midnight Madness is our annual yard show that happens on the Diag. Each chapter will perform a step routine in front of the Hatcher Graduate Library at 11:59pm Thursday, September 27, 2012. The NPHC Icebreaker is a dance that will be held in the Union, Rogel Ballroom on Friday September 28, 2012. Tickets for this event will be sold through the Michigan Union Ticket Office (MUTO). There are also educational programs throughout the week such as Myth Busters, a forum held for non-greeks and non-NPHC members to get answers to the questions they always wanted to ask about NPHC culture and organizations. The week culminates in the NPHC Open House, where each chapter gives a brief presentation about their respective organization, and time is allotted for those who may be interested in joining to socialize with each chapter. The Open House is business casual and will be on Sunday, September 30th
